On 26, January 2023, a workshop entitle as “Learn to Earn” was organized at the Department of Product and Industrial Design, UET, Lahore. Mr. Sabiq opened the session by reciting some versus from the Holy Quran. Mr. Ali Zain (an alumni from the same department, and well-established professional designer) delivered an insightful lecture with live online demo. The intention was to equip students with necessary skillset needed to find creative freelance opportunities. The aim of the workshop was to make product design students self-sufficient, enabling them to bear their expenses by learning effective skills.
Students from 3rd and 4th year actively attended and participated in the session. Ms. Mona Gulzar and Dr. Salman Asghar, being the organizer of the session, closed the program by thanking the guest speaker and students for their active participation.
