The Postgraduate Research Committee (PGRC) of the Product and Industrial Design Department (PID), Faculty of Architecture and Planning, at University of Engineering and Technology Lahore serves as a distinguished academic and research platform committed to promoting excellence in postgraduate education, interdisciplinary research, innovation, and scholarly development. The Committee plays a vital role in strengthening the department’s research culture through the evaluation and approval of research proposals, academic policies, thesis progress, and research-oriented activities in accordance with contemporary academic and industrial standards. By integrating expertise from engineering, architecture, urban planning, industrial design, digital technology, and creative industries, the PGRC ensures that postgraduate research within the department remains innovative, industry-relevant, technically sound, and academically rigorous.
The Committee provides strategic guidance for the development of advanced research methodologies, interdisciplinary collaboration, sustainable design practices, digital innovation, and emerging technologies in the field of Product and Industrial Design.
