Mahnoor Ahmed is a student in the Master’s Program of Product and Industrial Design, UET, Lahore. She is the winner of the Bronze Award in the STARPACK COMPETITION 2022 (Project name: ‘‘MILKI Fresh Milk Packaging’’) in the category: Brief E- Fresh milk for the future. She was encouraged to participate in the WPO WORLD STAR STUDENT AWARDS by the STARPACK COMPETITION ORGANIZERS by looking at her previous excellent performance and design skills.
More than 30 countries participated in the competition this year and out of all the amazing designers she is the only Pakistani who scored the certificate of recognition.The Awards Ceremony will be held on May 2023 and the Gala Evening during inter-pack in Düsseldorf (Germany)
PROJECT “MILKI FRESH MILK PACKAGING”.
The MILKI bottle made of PET is a next-generation milk bottle designed (structurally and visually) to deliver against the current and future delivery methods. Its design is inspired by the silhouette of a milkman. It can be reused as a lamp or a vase. The Vice-Chancellor and Chairman of the PID Department Dr. Atif Bilal Aslam appreciated the efforts of the student and her supervisors (Dr. Salman Asghar Ass. Prof) for the commendable achievement.
