The industrial advisory board is a platform where industrial representatives are encouraged to come forward for advice on strategic areas of curriculum development, research, job opportunities, and fundraising.
The first meeting of the IAB of the department of product and industrial design was held virtually on 01-12-2022, with the agenda as follows.
• Roles and steps to be taken to bridge the gap between the industry and academia,
• Discussion on current subjects and course outlines w.r.t industrial needs/demands.
The IAB members Sana Tayyab, Haider Manzoor, Adeel Raza, Jaffar Shafique, and Amina Nazir congratulated and appreciated the chairman Dr. Atif Bilal Aslam, coordinator IAB Miss. Aiman Amjad and the respected faculty members for such initiatives to improve the educational experiences of the students and help them improve their lifelong learning process. Overall, it was a very helpful sitting and very fruitful decisions were made in the meeting. The Chairman Dr. Atif Bilal Aslam thanked all the IAB members and ensured his full support for the implementation of the points discussed and raised by IAB.
