In a dynamic collaboration between the Product and Industrial Design Department at UET, Lahore, and i3rl, students under the tutelage of Ms. Aiman Amjad, lecturer in User Experience Design, embarked on a transformative journey. Guided by industry experts Mr. Baber Saeed Chaudry and Mr. Anas Khalid from i3rl, the collaboration unfolded over four phases:
1. Introduction: Projects were introduced, setting the stage for exploration and innovation.
2. Evaluation: A rigorous assessment of the design process provided valuable insights for refinement.
3. Final Product Execution: Students translated their ideas into digital working prototypes, utilizing designated mediums for case study upload.
4. Project Winners: After meticulous evaluation by Ms. Aiman Amjad and the industrial experts, winners were announced and celebrated.

Notable winners include Muntaha, Saba, and Maryam (Session 2020), whose project aimed to establish a digital platform for collaboration among Pakistani product designers and researchers. Runners-up, Maaz, Anas Khalil, and Arham (Session 2020), proposed a digital platform connecting sports players in Lahore with playing arenas, enhancing community engagement.

The collaboration spanned a semester, culminating in awards including certificates, i3rl company bags, and cash prizes, recognizing the students’ exemplary efforts in driving innovation and addressing real-world challenges.
To conclude this activity the Chairman Dr. Atif Bilal Aslam appreciated the team’s efforts in pulling such big-scale projects and encouraged the students to excel more.
