The Department of Product and Industrial Design organized a guest lecture for final-year Product and Industrial Design students on the recent applications of Artificial Intelligence tools in design. Ms. Azaam Sharafat, a product and interior designer, shared her expertise on integrating sustainability, artificial intelligence, and culture in the design process. She highlighted examples from well-known companies using AI tools for eco-friendly design. Ms. Azaam encouraged designers to use AI tools like MidJourney, DALL.E, Adobe Firefly, and Bard intelligently and effectively in their design projects and client interactions. The Chairman, Dr. Ing. Atif Bilal Aslam, the subject teacher, Ms. Asma Khalid, other faculty members, and students expressed their gratitude to Ms. Azaam. We wish her all the best in her efforts to advance the Product and Industrial Design profession.
