It’s an exciting day for Marriam Bashir (an MPID student at Product and Industrial Design, UET, Lahore. After months of hard work and dedication, she has defended her thesis viva for her Postgraduate degree in MPID.
Marriam has spent countless hours researching, designing, and refining her project. Her thesis focuses on “Digitizing Tourism and Interactive Navigation: A Case Study of Lahore”.
Dr. Sadaf Zahoor (Associate Professor, IME Department, UET, Lahore.) and Mr. Asad Khan (Art Director from The Germinators Group) evaluated the thesis work as internal and external examiners, respectively. Both examiners appreciated the work and provided their valuable feedback to professionally execute the project through industrial collaboration. Her project highlights the importance of integrating digital technologies to promote tourism by developing an interactive mobile application.
