Award distribution ceremony was held in the Department of Product and Industrial Design, UET, Lahore, to distribute the certificates and shields to students who won six (06) awards at the International packaging design competition Starpack PACKAGING STUDENT AWARDS 2024”, held in the UK. We are grateful to our special alumni guests for gracing the award distribution ceremony with their presence.
The awards welcome 104 entries from Universities all over the world. We are delighted that the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore has earned a remarkable achievement by securing 6 awards among all participating universities. Students from the 2021 session (6th semester, BPID) Department of Product and Industrial Design, UET, Lahore. won the following Awards:
* Um E Aeman & Zunaira Nawaz – “Silver Award”, in Brief C: Metal pack for a luxury fragrance
* Aliyan Hassan & Tehreem Batool – “Silver Award”, in Brief E: LYNX – The GOAT front of store display
* M. Junaid Javed & Fiza Ali – “Bronze Award”, in Brief B: Trio pack of shampoo, conditioner & moisturiser – For “ON THE GO” personal care
* Bareera Zubair & Sehar Amjad- “Bronze Award”, in Brief B: Trio pack of shampoo, conditioner & moisturiser – For “ON THE GO” personal care
* Mehreen Zahid- “Bronze Award”, in Brief D: Paper-based packaging for sports equipment
